You could easily accomplish this by following three steps: 1. Open WhatsApp and go to Settings. 2. Scroll to the right and select Privacy. 3. Uncheck the reading settings option. By disabling this option, other people wouldn't know that you had seen their statuses, and you wouldn't know who had seen yours either. However, WhatsApp has made some changes. When you reactivate the read confirmation, WhatsApp sends pending notifications, and the states you have seen while the feature was deactivated will be marked as read. Nevertheless, there is a solution. Simply wait for 24 hours before turning on the confirmation again. After this time, the statuses will disappear, and the notification won't be sent, ensuring that no one will ever know you saw it. 2. Use a File Explorer Another method to view WhatsApp statuses without the knowledge of the creators is by using a file explorer application. This method is only applicable to Android devices, and it allows you to view photos or videos, not text-based statuses. One popular file explorer app is ES File Explorer, but there are many alternatives available. Some phone manufacturers even provide their own pre-installed file explorer. To use ES File Explorer: 1.
